The Cha’an Ka’ak is BAK’s fire show – a Mayan-inspired ritual performance that takes over the dining room and shifts the atmosphere from a premium steakhouse dinner into something more theatrical at 9:30 PM. The show draws on the mythology of Ka’ak, the sacred fire of the ancient Mayan guardians of Tulum, and combines music, flame, and choreography. At 10 PM there is a fire cermony that gives guests the opportinity to make a wish by throwing a ritual card in the fire.

The food earns its place alongside the show: premium cuts including Japanese Wagyu and Black Angus Jack’s Creek, fresh seafood, and a cocktail program built around open-fire cooking.

Good to Know

Dress Code Smart casual. Think linen, summer dresses, nice sandals. No flip-flops or swimwear.
Kids Kids are welcome for dinner and the fire show. After 10 PM the vibe shifts to a party - most families head home by then.
Seating Duration With a reservation your table is guaranteed for at least 2 hours. On busier nights, you may be asked to move to the bar area after that - but you're welcome to stay as long as there's space.
Minimum Spend No minimum for groups with 11 guests or less. You pay for your dinner and drinks. The live show is included.
Deposit For groups of 12 people or more a deposit of 1,000 MXN (~50 USD) per person is required, fully usable as consumption credit.
